What is Foundational Learning?
Foundational Learning includes the basic literacy, numeracy and socio-emotional skills children should acquire during the early years of education. These foundations allow children to understand what they read, work confidently with numbers, communicate, solve problems, regulate emotions, collaborate with others and continue learning.
